I have a nephew in there first time and gay they put him in with no security, how is that protecting him from harm.

tongia, talk to his attorney. maybe they don't know he is gay but i don't think i'd advise HIM telling anyone, not even the guards. maybe the attorney can talk to someone higher up and let them know your nephew is gay and in the general population and needs to be separated from the general population. i think they really do keep the gays separate for their safety. i wish you and your nephew luck and will pray for you and him. god bless, shelly

Oh!!!! I bet he is innocent too….. How about this? If he would have abided by the laws of this state he would not have been arrested! And besides he is gay. Wouldn’t that be like a child going to Disney Land? It’s a big party for him on the 5th floor…. Tell him to just suck it up (no pun intended) and stay on the straight and narrow when he gets out. You ought to send him a bucket of ice so he might be able to sit down after they get done….
