Oklahoma County Jail

Visited my son today, he said in the last week they have cut the food amount by half. It is bad food and cooked horribly and now they barely give them any thing. Why? So they will spend money family sends to inmate at their Company Store.

The people that work there do not make the rules, they just follow them. Personally, if you don't like it, don't go to jail. It's not supposed to be pleasant, it's full enough as it is.

As Joyce Gilchrist's cases show, not everyone in jail is guilty of the crime they are incarcerated for. Our justice system was based on the premise that you are Innocent Until Proven Guilty (IUPG), but the way people are treated anymore is totally opposite. I can understand becoming cynical when dealing with criminals, but if the original concept of IUPG is followed, these people need to be treated fairly
