Oklahoma County Jail

BS, pretty dependable. My brother died because he didn't get his medications and people beat him brain died- how dependable is that? Please answer this question. Why does it take so long for a man with seizures to get his meds? His prescriptions were verified the day he was booked yet never received his medication! Please explain our family are still waiting on answers.

Sad but very true. The jail system and medical area needs a careful investigation .. I'm not sure anymore what is going on down there anymore since I left but certain there some wrong doings going on or have gone on ... will anyone do anything about it?

Doubt any one will ever do any thing about that jail. Just pray to all Holy that my son makes it out of that Hell Hole alive. He should be out working and taking care of his kids.He is INNOCENT.

Has anyone even tried to get an attorney or just whine on here?

No attorney with a brain will even touch a case against the jail. It is impossible to sue any government entity in Oklahoma. The judge will just toss it out. Not to mention the ramifications involved. Any lawyer that tried would probably be the next victim of the Oklahoma County Jail.

Are you serious? Give meds appropriately? I was taken to jail for taking my RX meds and also on seizure medication and never received any of this. It is unreal. The crimes our "law enforcement" commit. We need a really good attorney to handle this. However, it is all taken care of when we die, so I am ok way this. just so sad that people have to be treated like this.

My son had a sore that took months to heal, he was given no medical care. I wonder if it was steph infection? I adopted a dog from a dog pound and he was given better medical care and more humane treatment than the people in jail. It is not about guilt or innocence ,it is about decent care and humane treatment. To be ,and yes my son is innocent, and to be treated the way they are treated and no decent food so family spends their gro. money sending money to inmate so they can buy food from their little company store.It is wrong, this is America and you are supposed to be treated humanely and be innocent until proven guilty.

I know that my loved one is on breathing treatments and he tries to get his scheduled 3 times a day and is licky to get one a day. They tell me lies everytime i call and i think we need to do something legal.

The ACLU doesn't care. I sent them a letter when I was incarcerated and they didn't do anything. They didn't even write me back.

I have also tried to contact them about County and they ignored me. The problem is that people need to come togther are say this is wrong and it has to stop. Until then people will keep getting abused and even dying while everyone looks the other way.

Dawn, are you suing for wrongful death? If not WHY? If no one stands up and fights people will continue to die in there!
